Unconditional love is something I was fortunate enough to experience growing up. It provided a light through life that helped guide me. Inspiring me to share with others through exchange of energy, meaning conversation, or acts of kindness. In relation to the theme of my shoe, Chlorophyll is the green pigment in plants that gives off energy when light is absorbed through a process called photosynthesis. Lemo allows me to be a light. When others absorb it, they then share it through their own energy exchanges. In turn becoming a chain of well being starting with unconditional love, light, energy, and repeat.

I am grateful for my supportive and loving family who have ALWAYS created an environment that pushed me to be my own advocate and supported my choices - the good and the bad. There came a very pinnacle moment in my professional career in which I could have continued on the path that I was on, but instead I remembered what my mom told me "honey, if you're not smiling when you make this decision then it's not the right one. It's simple." At that moment I took a risk and resigned from my current career path and joined forces with two of the most passionate, intelligent, and inspiring people I have ever met. It's the BEST decision I have ever made and to be a part of a team that is driven to create something that has never been done before is something I am so thankful for!

My fulfillment in life comes from seeing impact. I learn something new everyday at LEMO. Not only do I get a chance to create an impact here at LEMO, but my life is also impacted everyday. The community is family; from the kids, their families, the coaches, supporters and the staff. There is no other place in the world that empowers you to do ANYTHING, and then encourages you to give it back to someone else. A place that chooses you before I. As a father of 3 I am forever grateful for LEMO and the future it is creating for my kids. Giving them the opportunity to dream big and help others accomplish theirs as well.

I've never been loved by a group of people the way LEMO loves me. As soon as I was exposed to that high quality of love it became clear that this is where I belong. Too often in this world we have people we encounter that want to shave off our truth to make themselves feel more comfortable. At LEMO, David, Ali and the team not only help kids find their truths but encourage their walk (or uphill sprint) in it. Many people discuss what they can do to make a difference, they act on it. I view this team and this cause as family and will forever be a part of it in whatever capacity I can serve. LEMO is everything we wish we had as kids, as well as everything we never knew we needed.
